In 2006 the lure of working at one of the UK's best championship courses brought him back to Scotland and to Carnoustie, working as part of the Carnoustie team to ensure the 2007 Open Championship course was presented in its usual pristine condition.
Stuart also worked at 4 Dunhill tournaments.

He is delighted to have been offered the opportunity of joining Blair Atholl Golf Club as Head Greenkeeper.

Stuart is keen to offer Blair Atholl members regular course news and updates , he says

"Over the next few months I intend to start an aereation programme with ongoing feeding when required and to start topdressing the greens which is another name for spreading sand evenly accross the greens which would then be brushed in. This may cause minor disturbance to the greens for a few days but this is beneficial and will help the overall smoothness of the greens. The 5th green will get more attention than the rest due to the winter damage. But this should start to recover when the warmer weather arrives
."

Keep checking back for more course news from Stuart.
